Ag-Grid is excited to announce its most recent hire, Ken Verhelle. Ken is a veteran of the food waste and digester industry and has been charged with expanding Ag-Grid’s food waste market as its new Director of Food Waste Strategy & Operations. Welcome to the team, Ken!
Ken brings over three decades of experience in the solid waste industry. He has worked his way through the ranks at some of the largest waste recycling and disposal companies in the United States. Ken was the Branch Manager for Safety Kleen Corporation and managed a hazardous waste transfer site that provided transportation and the recycle/disposal of hazardous waste in New England. He was also a Market Area Manager for SystemOne Technologies, an organization that sold recycling and solvent distillation equipment for degreasing parts. In addition, working for Waste Management/Wheelabrator and Tunnel Hill Partners, he has vast experience managing special waste projects that included site remediation; providing transportation, disposal, recycle, and incineration options. Ken has also managed recycling services for municipalities and various hauling companies throughout New England and the Mid-Atlantic regions. Ken brings expertise in the logistics management area for waste management including moving waste by rail. In his most recent role, Ken served as the Business Development Manager for Agri-Cycle Energy, an organics collection and recycling company that de-packages and recycles organics through Anaerobic Digestion.
